Newcomer Orientation

Getting used to a new country or city is never easy, no matter how well you prepare yourself. We know that foreign nationals leave behind close friends and relatives, and that moving can put anyone's lives in temporary disarray.
We are dedicated to easing such transitions through our orientation program, which helps newcomers and their families become familiar with their new surroundings. Our aim is to decrease the stress of moving to a strange land by partnering the foreign national with a specialist who will take act as his or her cultural liaison.
Companies turn to CBM to provide settlement services to their new hires because we:
- Provide peace of mind to the newcomers and their families
- Allow the HR manager and the newcomer's direct report to focus on other core business
- Encourage increased employee focus on the job because the personal settlement issues are being taken care of by our Newcomer Orientation Specialists
- Allow for a smooth transition of the newcomer and family
- Save time because the newcomer is not researching where and how to register a vehicle, for licenses, children in school.
- Decrease early absence from work
Cross Border Management's orientation program is one of a kind because our Specialists take the relocated employee and his or her family under their wing. The Specialists are dedicated to easing this transition, as they understand that the newcomers feel vulnerable. CBM provides a wide range of services that include but are not limited to :
